I’ve really been enjoying building and creating my instagram account. (If you’re reading this, give me a follow, like or comment).

I initially felt I was too old to do it. And at this age I’m way more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. Shooting video scares the hell out of me.
But overall, I’m happy with the wisdom that shows on my face. I’ve lived a life that many might not have survived. I’ll leave the vivid details for another post. But suffice to say, I’m so proud of who I’ve grown into.

The woman I see in the mirror or in photos and videos is amazing to me. Strong, comfortable in her skin, filled with dark humor and amazing talents. While my life is probably pretty ordinary to many, I’ve accomplished extraordinary things.
I’ve worked hard leading a good example, teaching those I’m blessed to spend time with and coming to terms with all my beautiful, broken edges.
