Thankfully, the world is a big place. Here are some of the most beautiful, but underrated, travel destinations.
Strasbourg, France

Tourists flock to the capital city of France but there is a little gem hiding in this country near the German border. It's not as grandiose as Paris,  but this small town, called “La Petite France”, definitely has its own charm. It's built on the banks of winding canals.

It even has a world-class cathedral, the Strasbourg Cathedral, which is admired the world over for its detailed Gothic architecture.  One of the best parts is that Strasbourg is only two hours away from Paris by train! So, if you can't let go of Paris just yet, no need to worry.

Port de Soller, Spain

It is located at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, a mountain range on the Spanish island of Mallorca. This one is a postcard-perfect village hugged by the mountains. It has a lot of cafes, restaurants and boutiques along the beach.

Just imagine yourself sitting by the beach and watching the magnificent sunset. Doesn't that sound magical? If you're a beach lover like me, this is definitely a must visit spot!

San Luis Obispo County, California

This little gem is dubbed as SloCal and it sits between San Francisco and Los Angeles. It boast of amazing beaches, farmer's markets and the most important for me, wineries.

Within SloCal hides a spot that is called Paso Robles. It has over 200 wineries (yes 200!) and several events dedicated to wine especially during the summer days. There are also a lot of fun activities to do lie ziplining through the vineyard or horseback riding.

Ayrshire, Scotland

If you're into the midieval period, you are going to enjoy this place. You can explore different castles and even stay in one if you'd like. Glenapp Castle is a five-star luxury resort you can stay in. How awesome is that?

History buffs will certainly enjoy the experience here since there are a lot of activities to be done. Summer is quite the ideal time for guests to mountain bike through the estate, play croquet on the grounds and take a boat ride to Ailsa Craig to explore the ruins of a 15th century castle. How cool would it be to pretend that you're a Queen? I'd definitely have fun doing that!
